Donation Exchange Center In ther year 2002,
Internet Thailand Public Company Limited (INET), the country's
premier and leading IT service provider, expanded its e-Charity project, using
Internet as an alternative channel for people to make merit and support public
service organizations. The project is built on top of INETs industry-leading
e-payment gateway.
The "INET e-Charity"
allows people to make donation to various foundations through the website
www.e-charity.thai.com In the beginning, There were five participating foundations
namely Duang Prateep Foundation, Pavena Foundation, Centre for the Protection
of Childrens Right Foundation, Sosa House Foundation and Children Development
Foundation. The project was developed based on the success of INETs pilot
project that offered online donation service for Foundation for Children initiated
in 2000. In the year 2005 , the project was expanded in terms of size, the
number of participating foundations and the advanced technology used becoming

The website is aimed to become a centre for
online donations for both donors and charities. It is also a channel to mobilise
funds, volunteers and other donated goods to give out to opportunity challenged
children and destitute in our society. The website covers news from more than
100 charitable organisations and people can visit the website at any time
whether to find their favourite charities, making donations or participate
in volunteer works. Any charitable organisation wishing to get support and
donation can also register to become a member at www.thaigiving.org
